01Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CodeSail iOS application, the CodeSail CLI tool (available via npm install -g codesail), or any associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the Service. Your continued use of CodeSail following any updates to these terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

02Description of Service

CodeSail is a companion tool for developers that consists of:

• An iOS application available on the Apple App Store
• A CLI tool installed via npm (npm install -g codesail)

Together, these components allow developers to monitor and control Claude Code sessions remotely from their iPhone. The Service acts as a bridge between your local development environment and your mobile device.

CodeSail uses end-to-end encryption (AES-256-GCM) to secure communications between the CLI and the iOS app. No session data, code, or personal information is stored on our servers. All data is transmitted directly between your devices in encrypted form.

03User Responsibilities

When using CodeSail, you agree to:

• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain the security of your devices and pairing credentials
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Not use the Service to transmit malicious code, interfere with other systems, or engage in any unlawful activity
• Not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Service without prior written consent
• Ensure that your use of Claude Code complies with Anthropic's own terms and usage policies

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs through your paired devices and for the security of your development environment.

04Intellectual Property

The CodeSail application, CLI tool, website, and all associated content including but not limited to the design, code, graphics, logos, and documentation are the intellectual property of Ehab Fyaez and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CodeSail for its intended purpose. This license does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

CodeSail is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. Claude Code is a product of Anthropic, and its use is subject to Anthropic's own terms of service.

05Disclaimer of Warranties

CodeSail is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
• The Service will be compatible with all devices, operating systems, or configurations
• Any defects in the Service will be corrected

You acknowledge that the use of any development tool involves inherent risks, and you use CodeSail at your own discretion.

06Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ehab Fyaez shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars (USD $50), whichever is greater.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, including negligence, breach of contract, or strict liability.

07Termination

You may stop using CodeSail at any time by uninstalling the iOS app and the CLI tool. No special cancellation process is required.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or if continued access poses a risk to the integrity of the Service or other users.

Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you under these terms will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law, will remain in effect.

08Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties before pursuing any formal legal action.

09Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically. Your continued use of CodeSail after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.
